TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. General Terms
Mirna Jeličić (Owner) ensures the accommodation service to Guest according to information available on this web site, and also in accordance with the time period and details of the confirmed reservation. Owner is not liable for force major conditions that cannot be anticipated or eliminated (natural disasters: earthquakes, floods, fires, droughts, wars, strikes, pandemic, acts of terrorism and restrictions issued by the government: mobilization, ban to exit the country).

2. Reservations and payment
Inquiries and reservations for accommodation can be made via e-mail, in writing or in person at our house. By confirming a reservation, Guest confirms that he/she is aware of the General Terms and conditions of the accommodation services and fully comprehends and accepts these terms which are binding for both Guest and Owner. Guest is obligated to provide any information which is required for the reservation process (name and surname, number of persons including children, number of pets if any, dates of arrival and departure). A non-refundable deposit as high as 30% of the total amount is required for the booking to be confirmed. Upon the deposit's arrival, a booking confirmation is sent via e-mail. The remaining amount must be paid in cash at the beginning of the service.

3. Rates
The price of the service includes the basic service (the daily rent, electricity and water consumption, weekly change of bed linen and towels, cutlery and cookware, and final cleaning upon departure.).
Pets are allowed only with prior notice and at an extra charge. It is not allowed to leave a pet unattended in the apartment.
In the case of stays shorter than three nights the rent price is increased by 30%.
Owner reserves the right to change the listed rates. Owner guarantees that the remainding amount will be charged based on the prices quoted in the offer according to which the guest has booked the apartment.
Should the number of people for the reserved accommodation unit exceed the number indicated in the offer, Owner has the right to withhold services for unannounced guests or allow all guests and request additional payment for unannounced travelers on the spot, if the capacity of the apartment allows their accommodation.

4. Owner’s obligations
Owner is responsible for providing services while respecting the rights and interests of guests in accordance with the traditions of the tourism industry. Owner will fulfill all the abovementioned obligations as described except in circumstances beyond its control (Article 2).

5. Obligations of Guest
Guest is obligated to: • have valid travel documentation • abide by house rules of the accommodation units • present valid travel documents to Owner for registration purposes
If Guest does not follow these regulations, he/she will be held responsible for any expenses or damages. By confirming a reservation, Guest is obligated to pay the service provider on the spot for any damage(s) he/she may have caused. Before leaving the apartment on departure day, Guest is obligated to invite Owner into the apartment for a damage inspection.

If Owner notices that the air conditioner is switched on, and the windows are open while Guest is (not) in the apartment at that time, Owner reserves the right to enter the apartment to turn off the air conditioner/close windows. The same applies to winding up the sun screen during windy weather conditions.

6. Changes and cancellations
In the event that Guest wishes to change or cancel a reservation he/she must do so in writing (by e-mail). Changes can refer to the number of guests, the date of the commencement and/or end date of the service and must be made no later than 30 days prior to the beginning date of the service in question. The first reservation change, if possible without added expenses, will be made free of charge. For each additional change a fee of 15 Euros per change will be charged. If a reservation change is not possible and Guest gives up the confirmed reservation, he/she will receive no money back, as the deposit is non-refundable. The deposit is non-refundable regardless of the reasons for the cancellation.
Entrance into the apartment is possible after 14:00 on the day of arrival, and on the day of departure the guest unit must leave until 10:00. In the event that Guest does not arrive by midnight on the beginning date of the service and did not previously inform Owner, the reservation will be cancelled.

Owner reserves the right to make changes regarding reservations in the event of circumstances which cannot be predicted, avoided or removed (see Article 2).

7. Personal items
Owner is not responsible for lost or damaged property or stolen property or valuables kept in the accommodation unit. Lost or stolen property is reported to Owner and local police station.

8. Personal information security
Guest provides personal information of his/her own free will.
Personal information is required for processing requested services. The same information shall be used for inter-communication. Owner is under obligation that the personal information of Guest will not be given to a third party. The personal information will be kept in a database.

9. Note
By putting down a deposit, or making the payment in full Guest acknowledges he/she fully comprehends and accepts the aforementioned terms.

10. Court jurisdiction
Guest and Owner will aim to settle possible law suits in the application of this Agreement and if an agreement cannot be reached the issue will become subject to the decision of the Crikvenica Court jurisdiction, under the authority of the laws of the Republic of Croatia.
